Have just received our first of many deliveries of Gaziano & Girling shoes for 2010…Westminster in Vintage Chestnut on the TG73 last in standard E fitting. St. James in Black Calf on the TG73 in Narrow D fitting & Wigmore Boots in Vintage Rioja & Burgundy Grain on the TG73 in F wide fitting. Gaziano & Girling’s Vintage Rioja has recently gone a shade darker than our original E fitting boots. This is a truly stunning colour. The quality of G&G shoes is getting better & better each time I take new stock. Their attention to detail is outstanding. Here are some images of the 3 styles mentioned.

Wedding Show at Stapleford Park Hotel

Our Wedding Show at Stapleford Park Country House Hotel was a great experience and a success. We were unsure what a wedding show would consist of or even if Men’s Shoes would be a necessary addition to the show. It quickly became obvious that when a lady is looking for inspiration for her “special day”, her fiancé & sometimes her father may also require something special for not only this occasion but for a longer period. Our Gaziano & Girling shoes were a real treat for those men. Most men we spoke to seemed surprised that we were exhibiting at a wedding show but after they though about it a while it seemed the perfect venue and they were pleased we were there.(Although some of the brides-to-be requested their future husband’s total attention to be on the wedding). We were fortunate to have a great location in the Main Hall of Stapleford Park, one of England’s finest Country Houses which often finds itself voted as the top Country House Hotel in England with VIP guests such as the late Michael Jackson, his sister Janet is a regular visitor along with Dionne Warwick, Faye Dunaway, Jerry Hall and Naomi Campbell. This was the perfect place in the English Countryside to exhibit our shoes & accessories.

Alexandra Wood of Savile Row’s Winter Style Evening with Rory Bremner, The Sunday Times and GQ.

From our initial Gibson Hall show in London we were approached & contacted by the PR to Alexandra Wood of Savile Row where we were asked to exhibit at another event, this time at the Dorchester on Park Lane. This was a venue not to be missed. Not only was it a perfect setting for our quality products but was also a place where we had the potential to meet some very interesting people. And we did. We met several Bespoke Tailors from Savile Row. Alexandra Wood had planned & organised the event. Many of her clients were present including the Lord Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Sir David Frost, several politicians & one of their counterparts, Rory Bremner. In fact, Mr. Bremner didn’t have a belt to match the quality of his Bespoke Suit made by Alexandra so I managed to help him out with that. One of my Handmade Havana leather belts looked great with his suit and his dark brown shoes. I believe he will use it regularly as he tells me that he only wears silver colour buckles.

Autumn 2009 "Best of British" Gibson Hall, London

In November 2009 Bespoke England was introduced to some of the London elite at an incredible show of Britain’s finest luxury brands at “The Best of British” show at Gibson Hall, London organised by Square Mile Media. There were many internationally renowned retailers such as Asprey, Ellicott, Boodles, Bremont, Drakes, Brackes & Strauss, Turbull & Asser, Huntsman, Maurice Sedwell, Vertu phones & Richard Ogden to name just a few and we were placed next to our favourite food supplier Fortnum & Mason with a free supply of chocolate all evening. Complimentary drinks from the organisers were at our client’s disposal for the entire show although we supplied our own Champagne for our customer’s to enjoy while the quietly browsed our shoes & accessories. A good night was had by all. We were joined for the entire event by Tony Gaziano & Dean Girling of Gaziano & Girling who came to help promote their shoes and take orders for Bespoke shoes. We went on to the Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair for a wonderful finish to the evening.
